Formado por Caju Galon, Kelvin Koubik e Teresa Poester o Atelier D43 é um coletivo que investiga as possibilidades do desenho face às tecnologias e linguagens artísticas contemporâneas.
Atualmente foca-se no desenho como performance e vídeo. Seus vídeos não são somente um registro do desenho como performance dentro do atelier, mas uma linguagem experimental e autônoma.
O grupo surgiu em 2011 como uma pesquisa acadêmica reunindo- se na sala 43, ateliê de desenho do Instituto de Artes da UFRGS em Porto Alegre, onde Teresa era professora. Mas através de suas atividades externas e ações difundindo o desenho contemporâneo desvinculou-se da universidade.

Composed by the artists Caju Galon, Kelvin Koubik and Teresa Poester the D43 Atelier is a collective that is engaged in investigating the possibilities of drawing in face of tecnology and contemporary artistic language.
Currentlly the group has it´s focus on drawing as performance and vídeo. Their videos not only are a record of drawing as performance inside the atelier, but also an independent and experimental language.
The group was inniciated in 2011 as an academic reasearch coming together in room 43, an atelier in the Arts Institute in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where Teresa was a professor. But through it´s outer activities and also it´s actions dissiminating contemporary drawing, it untied it self from the university.
